No. The directory works in any browser. The free app adds the toolkit for when you're at the park: GPS trail maps, track recording, route planning, and live webcams.

We seed listings from public data, so many parks are already here. Operators can claim their listing (or add a new one if it isn’t here) free, then subscribe for an operator cockpit and branded rider experience.

Partly, and we would rather be straight about which parts. GPS tracking and waypoints keep recording with no bars at all, and everything you log syncs when you return to coverage. Trail tiles you have already loaded stay on screen, but there is no download-this-area button yet, so a park you have never opened will not draw. Downloadable maps are on the way.
